In order for me to make quality artwork, the reference photos need to be of a good quality, the higher the better. I may ask for multiple reference photos, so I can get a better impression of what the person, animal etc looks like in comparison to other people/in different lighting. I can also work from multiple photographs and merge them into the one piece, such as putting people together for a family portrait.
As a disclaimer, when doing coloured pencil portraits I sometimes use a light layer of promarker under the skintone pencil to intensify the colour. If you just want coloured pencil alone all you need to do is request but I will make sure to bring it up when we are discussing the commission.
For all commissions I take a deposit, approximately a third of the price, before I start and all transactions are done through PayPal (no need to make an account if you don't have one already). Post and packaging isn't included in these prices. For a full list of terms and conditions click here.
